NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Flood risk Sunday remains moderate south of the city, according to the National Weather Service, with most of the activity expected to stay just below the five boroughs as high pressure shifts away.
Clouds will increase through Sunday afternoon, and there’s a chance of showers after 5 p.m. The high will reach near 83.
On Monday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms returns. Conditions will start cloudy before gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 86.
Conditions are expected to fully dry out Tuesday, as high pressure moves in and brings a pleasant, dry day, a brief break before more rain is expected later in the week.
