Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ Tony winning musical Six celebrates 2,000 performances on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre August 17.
With five years under their belt, Six is the longest-running show in the history of the Lena Horne, the 40th longest-running show in Broadway history, and the seventh longest-running Broadway show to have originated in the U.K.
Celebrations are planned for tonight’s performance the show welcomes four new Queens to the Broadway castle, including Chloe Tucker Caine (Owning Manhattan, Mamma Mia!) as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris (original U.K. Six) as Jane Seymour, Aimie Atkinson (original U.K. Six, Beetlejuice) as Katherine Howard, and Stephanie Jae Park (Hamilton) as Catherine Parr.
The quad join current stars Khaila Wilcoxon as Catherine of Aragon and Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves. The Broadway cast also features Lauryn Adams, Aryn Bohannon, Maggie Likcani, and Aiyana Smash as alternates.
While making their Broadway debuts, Paris and Atkinson can also be seen in Six The Musical Live!, a live capture film released by Universal Pictures Content Group and recorded at the Vaudeville Theatre, London, with the original West End Queens reprising their roles. The film was released in US and Canadian movie theatres August 14.
