Police are looking to question several men after a woman was injured by gunfire in broad daylight just outside of a Brooklyn playground on Monday afternoon.
According to law enforcement sources, the shooting erupted at around 1:10 p.m. outside of the Glenwood Houses playground, located at 1658 Ralph Avenue in Flatlands, Brooklyn, and not far from the B47 bus stop. Cops say three men opened fire just outside the basketball court play area, grazing a 52-year-old woman in the left arm.
EMS rushed her to Brookdale Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. She is believed to be an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.

Meanwhile, three male suspects were seen fleeing on scooters westbound toward Kings Highway. Their intended target has not yet been established.
Police set up a perimeter alongside the sidewalk and searched for shell casings. A child’s razor scooter could be seen abandoned at the scene after the shots rang out.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
According to the latest NYPD data, shootings in the confines of the 63 Precinct are down by 60%. Felony assaults are up by 24%.
