LEWISBURG, Pa.- Bucknell men’s water polo (9-14, 5-5 MAWPC) completes the 2025 regular season this weekend with two conference matches at No. 5 Fordham (18-3, 8-0 MAWPC) and Wagner (9-14, 2-6 MAWPC). The Bison are seeking a double-digit win season and a positive win-loss record in MAWPC action. The Fordham contest will be streamed on BallerTV and the Wagner match is available on NEC Front Row. The Orange & Blue fell to Fordham and beat Wagner earlier this season at the Bucknell Invitational.

The Inside “Herd” on the Bison


Bucknell defeated Route 15 Rival Mount St. Mary’s 18-15 last weekend to improve to 5-5 in conference play. 
Aleksa Stefanovic went a perfect 7-for-7 from the field to lead the Bison attack. 
The Orange & Blue was picked fourth in the MAWPC Preseason Poll. 
Stefanovic leads the team with 79 goals and 175 points.
Tyler Hedblad joined Stefanovic in the 100+ point crew, totaling 112 points on 52 goals and eight assists. 

Opposition Overview


Fordham sits 18-3 overall and 8-0 in MAWPC play. The Rams have only lost to #1 UCLA, #3 Stanford, and #4 Cal. Fordham has seven ranked wins on the season and is ranked fifth – the only non-California school in the top ten. 
Wagner is 9-14 overall and 2-6 in MAWPC play. The Seahawks have lost three straight games – all to conference foes. Wagner is 0-5 against ranked teams.
