An MTA bus and an FDNY firetruck collided in the Bronx on Tuesday, injuring 19 people, including five firefighters, according to the fire department.

The crash was reported at about 12:32 p.m. at Southern Boulevard and Barretto Street, in the Hunts Point section, FDNY officials said.

EMS took five firefighters and 14 civilians to area hospitals, the department said. Three other people were evaluated at the scene and refused further treatment.

Officials did not immediately release the conditions of those injured or describe how the crash happened. Images of the scene posted to social media show an articulated bus with a broken front window and a firetruck nearby.

The MTA referred all inquiries to the FDNY.

An NYPD spokesperson said the department had no information about the crash.
