NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Get ready to power up at New York City’s largest anime convention this weekend.
Anime NYC returns to the Jacob Javits Center from Thursday through Sunday, bringing a weekend of all things Japanese pop culture, including performers, actors, manga creators and more.

Below is everything to know for this weekend.
Timing for Anime NYC
Thursday – 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., panels run until 10 p.m.
Friday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., panels run until 10 p.m.
Saturday – 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., panels run until 10 p.m.
Sunday – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How to get there
The easiest way to get to the Javits Convention Center is by taking the Manhattan-bound No. 7 train to the last stop, 34 St-Hudson Yards.
Alternatively, the M34-SBS bus also stops just steps away from the convention hall.
Other things to know
A full list of panel programming as well as a virtual artist alley can be found online and on the Anime NYC mobile app.
Those planning to attend some of the weekend’s biggest panels, including those for Haikyu!!, Kaiju No, 8, Re:ZERO and the cast of the One Piece live-action are advised to line up at least an hour before the panel begins, even if you have a reservation.

Attendees can bring any bag of their choosing to the convention however, all bags will be subject to security search.
Badges to attend are still available online and at select retailers around New York City. If you’ve lost a badge you purchased, you will have to buy a new one ahead of the convention.
