SUNSET PARK — THE BROOKLYN ARMY TERMINAL unveiled the final work in the New York City Economic Development Corporation’s free, year-long exhibition, “In Plain Sight.” The final work, “Tidal Crossing,” is an installation by artist Jean Shin in the BAT’s three arches, reflecting on the U.S. military’s geographic footprint and complicated narratives surrounding conflict.

“In Plain Sight” features works by 12 Brooklyn artists in and outside of the BAT, including Elana Herzog, Z Behl, Hyesu Lee, Avani Patel and more. Several artists constructed their works on site, with many using materials sourced from tenants, spaces and on site supplies.

The exhibition, which opened in June, was curated by Debra Simon and will be on view at the BAT through summer 2027.
