Special needs pets have a way of changing your life for the better! Not only do they show you a new depth of unconditional love, but they also teach you resilience, gratitude and selflessness in a way like no other.
Unfortunately, as is often the case, many of these animals with special needs are overlooked when it comes to adopting.

GROGU (no age given)
Grogu may have deformed front legs, but don’t tell him there’s anything he can’t do.
This incredible little guy has adapted beautifully. He uses the litter box on his own, climbs onto the bed for snuggles, plays, explores, and lives life with determination every single day. He doesn’t let his disability define him and neither should you.
What Grogu needs now is someone with a big heart who sees him for the amazing cat he is, not just his special needs. He deserves a family that will cheer him on, make small accommodations when needed, and love him exactly as he is.
Grogu is proof that being different doesn’t mean being any less deserving of a forever home.
CHAI (no age given)
Chai is a soft-hearted, mellow gentleman with a gentle purr and a quiet confidence. He’s the kind of cat who enjoys life’s simple pleasures, cozy naps, peaceful afternoons, slow chin scratches, and watching the world from a sunny window. Affectionate on his own terms, Chai will happily seek you out when he’s ready for love, but he also appreciates having a comfy blanket or quiet hideaway where he can recharge.
Chai would thrive in a calm, predictable home with patient adults or older, respectful children who understand that every cat has their own pace. He’s looking for someone who will appreciate his independent spirit and let him blossom naturally. Once he trusts you, you’ll have a loyal, low-key companion by your side.
Chai had a congenital condition affecting the development of his eyelids and left eye. To keep him comfortable, he underwent corrective eye surgery and has recovered beautifully. His eyelids no longer irritate his eyes, and he’s living a happy, comfortable life. His left eye has limited vision due to being underdeveloped from birth, but he navigates his environment wonderfully and doesn’t let it slow him down. His adopter should simply plan for routine veterinary checkups to help keep his eyes healthy.
Chai is litter box trained, enjoys a peaceful routine, and is ready to find a forever home where he can settle in at his own pace.
DORITO (no age given)
When Dorito came to us, he had a broken leg and we thought surgery would be his only chance. Through rest, time, and lots of love, his leg has healed beautifully and he ended up not needing surgery after all.
Now he just needs one last thing: a furever home.
Dorito needs a quiet place to continue strict cage rest for just a few more weeks while his leg finishes healing. He’s incredibly sweet, loves people, and has been the easiest patient. Once his rest period is over, he’ll be ready to enjoy life like any happy kitten.
RALPH (no age given)
Ralph is a resilient, loving soul with a story that will tug at your heart. He was found abandoned in a carrier on the side of the road, rescued by the NYPD, and brought to safety. Since then, he’s been patiently waiting for the family he deserves.
Estimated to be around 3 years old, Ralph has a gentle, affectionate personality and gets along wonderfully with other cats. He has a heart murmur, but it doesn’t require medication just yearly checkups to monitor it. It certainly doesn’t slow him down or stop him from giving love.
Ralph has been waiting with us since November 2024, and we can’t understand why. He’s sweet, easygoing, and so deserving of a place to finally call home. After everything he’s been through, it’s time for his happy ending.
SOULJA BOY (no age given)
Soulja Boy was found on the streets of Queens with a broken jaw, injured and desperately needing help. We don’t know what happened to him out there, but we knew we had to give him a chance.
He underwent surgery to repair his jaw, had a wire placed while it healed, and now we have the BEST update: the wire is OUT and Soulja Boy is completely healed!
He’s eating normally, feeling good, and ready to put his medical journey behind him. He doesn’t need anything special anymore he’s just a normal, sweet cat who needs a home. 🥹
After everything he went through on the streets and weeks of recovery, Soulja Boy shouldn’t have to keep waiting in a cage.
He is ready for a foster or FOREVER home.
