A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in Brooklyn late Wednesday, and police say they’re looking for two masked suspects in the case.

They’re also investigating a separate case involving a stabbing at a nearby Dollar Tree.

In the first case, officers responding to a 911 call in East New York found the boy, identified as Ahmir Jordan of Brooklyn, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.

Minutes later, in what police say was a separate incident nearby, three teenage girls were hurt in a stabbing at a Dollar Tree. Cops say a 13-year-old was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen; a 15-year-old also was stabbed in the abdomen; and a 16-year-old girl had a slash wound.

The first two were taken to a hospital and are expected to be OK. A 44-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say the stabbing stemmed from an argument between the woman and the girls when the trio walked into the store.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
