15-year-old fatally shot in city’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A 15-year-old girl was fatally shot in the city’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

Cleveland EMS told 19 News the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her name has not been released.

The shooting happened in the 900 block of Spring Rd. around 1 p.m.

A neighbor told 19 News this happened in the laundry room of the Jennings Commons.

Officers searched the area for the suspect and weapons.
