MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A Junction City teenager was arrested in connection with drug crimes Wednesday night in Manhattan, officials said.
Riley County police officers filed a report in the case at approximately 8:58 p.m. Wednesday near Anderson Avenue and Scenic Crossing, on the west side of Manhattan.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested at approximately 9:35 p.m. in connection with distribution of marijuana; distribution or possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia for illegal use; and possession of marijuana.

The teen was issued no bond and was no longer in the Riley County Jail in Manhattan as of Thursday morning, officials said.
It wasn’t immediately known if the teen had been released from jail or transferred to a juvenile correctional facility in the area.
