Forest Hills Stadium got its fill of dubstep when Zeds Dead came to the borough for their ‘Journey of a Lifetime’ tour on Friday, August 14, 2026.

The electronic music duo was previously scheduled to perform on July 18 before the show was moved back due to inclement weather. The wait was more than worth it for colorfully dressed ravers who came to the stadium looking for a hardcore rager of a party. Hooks and DC didn’t come alone to perform, either. Before Zeds Dead took the stage, Mikayli, Isded, Neumonic, and ALLEYCVT were on hand to help set the infectious tone just right for a beautiful and eventful evening in Queens. When Zeds Dead took the stage, the packed crowd became unglued as images of Frank Sinatra, John Lennon, and Gene Wilder flashed throughout the evening to accompany the music, lasers, and scorching pyro. Heads were bouncing, and feet were stomping from the front row to seats all the way back in the stadium.

At the barricade, Naomi Vainer got her first taste of live music in the States. Vainer, who also performs as Nomes Hill, made the most of her experience taking in all of the sights and sounds that FHS had to offer. “To me, this show meant everything. This is my first show in the US, and I first listened to Zeds Dead when I was in wilderness therapy in Utah. It got me through the hardest point of my life, and Zeds Dead music has been my biggest inspiration and my biggest reason to keep going every single day. Seeing this live was absolutely unreal,” she told the Queens Gazette in a post-show interview. “It felt like a fever dream…like truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This has absolutely changed my mind about American rave culture, and I will absolutely be going to more shows following this. I don’t think I will ever stop. I got such a rush. It was like a high without drugs. I felt like I was levitating, and my soul was leaving my body.”

They established themselves as the continuous trendsetters in culture after their two-hour showcase at Forest Hills. Ravers traveled far and wide for the curated show that was about forming a cultural ritual instead of the standard traditional tour stop.
