The Broadway in Brooklyn concert series will return August 24 at Brooklyn Improv with a concert featuring Aisha Jackson (The Great Gatsby) and Charity Angél Dawson (& Juliet), plus special guest Amber Iman (Lempicka).
The one-night-only concert will feature a songlist paying tribute to artists who shaped the history of jazz.
The series is the creation of 10th and Main Productions partners Susan Egan and Adam J. Levy, and pays homage to Brooklyn Improv’s earliest days. Under the stewardship of founder Budd Friedman, the intimate cabaret space once hosted such artists as Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Bette Midler, Barry Manilow, and more.
