New York State Police say a Brooklyn man is facing several drug charges after he led troopers on a vehicle pursuit around Broome this week.
According to NYSP, on August 18th, troopers saw a vehicle speeding on State Highway 17/Interstate 86 in the town of Sanford and initiated a stop. The driver, Ferris Trevon Brown, initially stopped, but then took off, forcing police to follow.
State police say Brown continued to ignore commands and traveled recklessly at a high rate of speed through traffic. He was also seen throwing suspected narcotics out the window.
The pursuit finally ended in Windsor after Brown intentionally struck a NYSP vehicle. He was ordered out of the vehicle and was taken into custody. Brown was charged with the following:

Police say suspected fentanyl and powder Novocain and mannite were all recovered.
