Sam Bassett scored late in regulation to send the Pittsburgh Riverhounds to a 1-0 road win over expansion Brooklyn FC on Saturday night.

Nico Campuzano made five saves to earn the shutout for the Riverhounds (10-8-3), who are unbeaten in their last four games (3-0-1) and have moved into a tie for third place with Charleston in the USL Championship Eastern Conference standings.

Brooklyn (3-12-4) nearly got a result against the Riverhounds for the second straight meeting between the clubs. Brooklyn won 2-0 on July 4.

But Bassett took advantage of a free kick just outside the penalty area in the 83rd minute, sending a shot over the wall and inside the left post.

Campuzano made it stand up for his third shutout in August.

The Riverhounds will stay on the road to visit El Paso Locomotive FC at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
