Police have released surveillance images of two men wanted for fatally shooting a 17-year-old boy as he hung out in a Brooklyn restaurant on Wednesday night.
The newly released footage appears to show two young people dressed in hoodies and wearing facemasks walking along a sidewalk. Police say they believe these two individuals stood outside of Hakim’s Restaurant, located at 514 New Lots Avenue, and opened fire into the establishment at around 8:23 p.m. on Aug. 19.
Police sources say the gunmen fired at least 12 times into the eatery before fleeing. 17-year-old Ahmir Jordan was inside the restaurant at the time and was struck in the head by a bullet. He died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a 35-year-old restaurant patron also suffered a laceration after he attempted to flee during the shooting and collided with a glass shelf, cutting him.
Sources say that the shooting may have been gang-related. However, it is unclear if Jordan was the intended target. He does not have a criminal record, authorities said.
Police are asking the public to come forward if they recognize the individuals or know their whereabouts.
