BOONVILLE- It was another action packed weekend for the 79th annual New York State Woodsmen’s Field Days and officials have now released the final results for the World Open Lumberjill and Open Lumberjack Championships.
For the World Open Lumberjill Championship, which was held on Saturday during the Field Days, Stephanie Naud took home the 2026 Championship, followed by First Runner Up – Martha King – and Second Runner Up – Samantha Graves.
For the men’s Open Lumberjack Competition, which was held on Sunday, Matt Cogar took home the Championship, with Nate Hodges taking First Runner Up and Matt Slingerland taking Second Runner Up.
Woodsmen’s officials added how Hodges set a new World Record in the Modified Chainsaw event.

Officials are already looking forward to next year for the 80th Woodsmen’s Field Days celebration, aimed for August 20 – 22, 2027.
