Claybourne Elder, best known for his work on Broadway in Company and on TV in HBO’s The Gilded Age, will return to 54 Below next month with an all-new show.
This stage and screen star will offer Can I Tell You Something? September 8–9 at 7 PM.

The actor, press notes state, has “spent years telling stories onstage. This time, he’s trying to tell the ones he usually leaves out.” Attendees can expect “an evening that’s looser, more candid, and
perhaps a little more spontaneous than his previous appearances” as well as songs by Sondheim, pop tunes, and additional Broadway favorites.
Elder, a Grammy, SAG, Drama Desk, and Lucille Lortel nominee, is currently appearing in the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors. He was also recently seen in the New
York City Center Encores! production of Michael John LaChiusa’s The Wild Party. His Broadway credits also include Bonnie and Clyde, Sunday in the Park with George, and Torch Song, and he appeared in Sondheim on Sondheim at the Hollywood Bowl. Other New York performances include Hollis in Sondheim’s Road Show, Strike Up the Band at Carnegie Hall, Do I Hear a Waltz? at New York City Center, and Allegro at Classic Stage Company.
