A new school year starts in less than three weeks and New York City still needs to finalize its guidance on the use of artificial intelligence in the classroom.
While some advocates say city students will be left behind if they don’t have access to the same AI tools that students in other states have, Kaliris Salas-Ramirez — a neuroscience and behavioral medicine expert at Rutgers University — joined “Inside City Hall” to share her concerns about the use of artificial intelligence in schools.
