Disney Cruise Line is making a highly anticipated return to New York City, bringing the Disney Wish back to the Big Apple for the first time since 2023. The newly announced Fall 2027 sailings will give families in the Northeast a unique opportunity to embark on magical Disney vacations directly from one of the world’s most iconic cities.
Beginning in late September 2027, the Disney Wish will arrive in New York following the ship’s inaugural season in Europe. For seven special voyages, guests will be able to set sail on four- to seven-night itineraries designed to combine Disney’s signature onboard experiences with memorable destinations along the East Coast and beyond.
One of the highlights of Disney Cruise Line’s New York return is a series of sailings to Bermuda. Guests aboard the Disney Wish will visit Boston, Massachusetts; St. John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. These voyages take place during the heart of the autumn season, offering travelers a chance to experience the spectacular fall colors that make New England and Atlantic Canada famous.
According to Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations, the return to New York reflects the company’s commitment to bringing family vacations to more destinations and creating memorable experiences for guests. New York has long been a favorite departure port, making the Disney Wish’s return especially exciting for families looking to cruise closer to home.
The Disney Wish’s New York sailings also include a special five-night voyage to San Juan, Puerto Rico, featuring a stop in Bermuda before continuing south. This itinerary helps connect Disney Cruise Line’s seasonal offerings while giving guests another unique vacation option departing directly from New York City.
