Cameras are rolling again on Taylor Sheridan’s “The Madison.”
The Paramount+ series released its six-episode first season in March. Michelle Pfeiffer stars in the series that filmed scenes in Montana and North Texas, where the region stood in for New York City.

“The Madison” is coming back for a second season, which already filmed last fall in the same two regions.
However, a couple of actors in the show were recently spotted filming on location in the Big Apple. Could this be for season 2 or the already announced season 3?
Here’s what to know.
‘The Madison’ filming scenes in NYC
“The Madison” is currently shooting season 2 scenes in New York, according to a Paramount+ insider.
On Aug. 21, Now Filming in NYC posted on Instagram that the show was filming in the city. Production continued over the weekend, including scenes featuring actors Patrick J. Adams and Rebecca Spence.
Series director Christina Alexandra Voros also posted on Instagram last week, writing that she was celebrating a “working birthday” in the Empire State.

The production comes after “The Madison” filmed season 2 in Montana and North Texas from September to December. Filming in the Metroplex took place in Dallas and Fort Worth.
Not much is known about how the story will push forward in season 2, but Pfeiffer has teased where her character goes emotionally.
“I will say that the reality of really what it means to be [in Montana], without the skill sets to be there, it starts to sink in more and more as season 2 goes on,” Pfeiffer told the Los Angeles Times in May. “It becomes harder and more dangerous and begins to unravel.”

No release date has been set for “The Madison” season 2.
In addition to the previously mentioned cast, the show stars Kurt Russell, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Danielle Vasinova, Kevin Zegers and Will Arnett.
Production on season 3 is expected to begin in early 2027.
