Nolan M. Gaige, 35, of Albany, was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 18 following an 11-day investigation, New York State Police said.

Troopers got a report on Friday, Aug. 7 from a business in Saratoga County about Gaige’s actions, according to authorities. Gaige took more than 140 computers from the business during his employment, investigators said.

Gaige carried out his scheme over several months in 2026 and sold the computers for personal gain, troopers said. He surrendered Aug. 18, then was arraigned in Malta Town Court and released on an appearance ticket, authorities said.

Gaige’s name and age match a former SUNY Albany baseball player who starred for the team from 2010-2013, earning second team all-conference honors in his senior season.
