Staten Island bus driver helps little girl bit by dog on board S40

This week’s MTA Hero is Hasan Taylor, an MTA bus operator in Staten Island who helped a girl who was bitten by a dog on board the bus.

Taylor was operating the bus when a little girl was bitten by a dog on board.

He jumped into action to get the dog away from the girl and waited until Ems and police arrived. He said his parental instincts just kicked in.

Taylor has been with the MTA for 15 years.
