LANSING, N.Y. (WBNG) — An Ithaca Man was arrested on Wednesday on several felony charges after troopers claim they damaged a dental office in Lansing.
Nicholas Robert Maier, 25, of Ithaca, was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 26, on the following charges:
Burglary in the third degree, a class D felony. Criminal mischief in the second degree, a class D felony.
Maier’s arrest stemmed from a report of a break-in at a dental office around 4:27 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, New York State Police said.
Troopers were sent to 22 Arrowwood Drive, Suite C, in the village of Lansing for a reported burglary.
It was learned that Maier damaged windows and a glass door, broke into a dental office, and damaged dental equipment, troopers said.
Maier was found and arrested at the scene on the above charges.
Maier was processed and then turned over to the Tompkins County Jail for proceedings.
