STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Two individuals were evaluated and transported by EMS to local hospitals after a reported motorcycle collision in Midland Beach Wednesday night, according to the FDNY.
The spokesperson for the FDNY did not provide the condition of the patients.
The NYPD told the Advance/SILive.com that the crash occurred just before 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Father Capodanno Boulevard and Hunter Avenue.
A caller reporting the incident told the NYPD that a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the crash. Both vehicles remained on the scene, according to a department spokesperson.
An injured man was found bleeding on the ground at the scene, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately clear. However, as noted by the spokesperson, the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
