Fraport New York, in partnership with JetBlue and commercial partners at JFK Terminal 5, recently celebrated the back-to-school season by launching a community drive aimed at supporting local families. Working alongside community leaders, elected officials, and local schools, the organization successfully donated over 2,000 supply-filled backpacks to students across Queens and Nassau County.
The initiative was designed to ensure local youth start the school year equipped with the tools, confidence, and enthusiasm needed for academic success. Beyond the initial donations, Fraport New York plans to extend distribution efforts into the first week of September to reach even more students throughout the region.
Organization leaders expressed deep appreciation for the volunteers, supporters, and local groups whose efforts in packing and distributing bags helped bring the initiative to life.
