MIDDLETOWN — A 9,712-square-foot, retail property in Middletown has been purchased by Unique Coffee Roasters of Staten Island for $1.6 million in a deal brokered by Sheldon Gross Realty Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick and Corporate Sales Representative Joshua Glussky.

Located at 719-721 Route 35, the single-story building features ground-level access and large windows that fill the interior with natural light.
Quickly accessible via the nearby Garden State Parkway and the Route 35 corridor. Within a quarter mile of the newly acquired property there are several eateries and gyms, a supermarket, a hotel, multiple retail outlets, and a large, residential neighborhood.

Joseph Ferrara, president of Unique Coffee Roasters, has said the Middletown space will be used as a roastery and warehouse where coffee will be sold by the bag. It will also include a tasting room where customers can learn about the company’s coffee-making process and sample its products.
According to the company website, Unique Coffee Roasters offers a collection of single-origin coffees sourced from around the world including coffees that originate from Costa Rica, Sumatra, Colombia, Honduras, Kenya, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Brazil.
All of the company’s coffees are sold in 16-ounce bags.
