Police in Queens are looking for two moped-riding bandits who stabbed a pair of men during a robbery early on Friday morning.
Law enforcement sources said the bloody attack occurred just before 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 28 on the dead-end block of 201st Street north of 42nd Avenue in Bayside.
Based on a preliminary investigation, police sources said, two suspects on board a scooter approached and attacked two men with a knife while attempting to rob them. The victims were apparently father and son, according to ABC7.
In the process, the perpetrators left a 23-year-old man stabbed in the lower back and right shoulder, and a 52-year-old man with a stab wound to his knee and a slash wound to his stomach.
Following the assault, the suspects fled on a scooter and were last seen traveling southbound on 201st Street.
Both men were taken via private means to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.
The incident was reported to the 111th Precinct, which reported 30 robberies year-to-date through Aug. 23, a 25% increase from the 24 reported at the same point in 2025. Felony assaults also ticked upward from 83 last year to 85 in 2026.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation. Police said one of the assailants wore a dark shirt and blue jeans, and the other wore all-black clothing and a helmet.
