The NYPD announced on Saturday it has arrested a man wanted in connection with two fatal shootings in the Bronx and Brooklyn earlier this week.
Police said 31-year-old Jesus Acosta allegedly shot and killed 44-year-old MD Yousof early Sunday while he was working at American Best Wings and Pizza in Brownsville.
Acosta is also accused of stealing the entire week of sales money from the restaurant during the shooting, according to authorities.
Police said he also allegedly killed a customer at a Bronx bodega before emptying their cash register as well.
The United Bodegas of America thanked the FBI for getting involved, but are pushing lawmakers to install panic buttons inside bodegas to keep their workers safe.
