The New York Jets and rest of the NFL have gotten down to 53 players as the league’s roster deadline has come and gone.
On Sunday at 6 p.m., the Jets trimmed their roster down from 91 players to 53 total. Over the past two days, news of player cuts have come trickling in. In addition, a trade or two went down as well.
From here, teams will turn their attention toward putting injury designations on players and seeing if anyone on the waiver wire peaks their interest. NFL roster are ever changing throughout a season, but for now, we have the initial 53-man roster for the Jets.
