With summer coming to a close, we’re all chasing activities to get a final taste of the season. And for Hoboken residents, there’s another event coming to add to your end-of-summer bucket list. Local favorite Alessio’s Cafe is hosting an Italian Summer Fest from Friday, September 4th to Monday, September 7th, complete with music, authentic Italian eats, celebratory practices, and more. About the Event
Alessio Cafe’s Italian Summer Fest is an upcoming four-day event coming to Northwest Resiliency Park, located at 1201 Madison Street in Hoboken. It will be from Friday, September 4th to Monday, September 7th, from 6PM to 9PM each day. Visitors can expect authentic Italian food (including signature Puglia dishes by Chef Vincenzo Spadavecchia), with different options every night. It will also include live music by the Dio Lo Vuole Band, an Italian Christian music band. Entry to the live music performances is free.
Alessio’s Italian Summer Fest is one of many festivals coming to Hoboken this summer, alongside the Hoboken Italian Festival and River City Fair.
About Alessio’s Cafe
Alessio’s Cafe was founded by native Italian + local Luca Infantino in 2020. It has five locations:

99 Franklin Street in Jersey City
125 Newark Avenue in Jersey City
1525 Harbor Boulevard in Weehawken
An all-day cafe, Terrace by Alessio’s, at Hoboken’s Northwest Resiliency Park.
Since its opening, Alessio’s has quickly become a favorite for its baked goods, pizzas, coffee, sandwiches, and good vibes. It’s also home to the Hoboken Girl Breakfast Sandwich, which started as a temporary partnership + fundraiser for local charities in 2024. The fundraising effort, which has raised over $10,000 for donations to local nonprofit organizations, was so successful that the sandwich became a permanent menu item (and also won the reader-nominated Hoboken Girl Best Of Hoboken Best Breakfast Sandwich).
Alessio’s most recent venture was the opening of its downtown Jersey City location at 125 Newark Avenue, which opened in May 2026.
