A woman was found dead from multiple stab wounds inside a Queens home on Tuesday morning, police reported.
Law enforcement sources said the grim discovery was made at 2:40 a.m. on Sept. 1 inside a residence near the corner of Rockaway Boulevard and 145th Street in South Jamaica.
Officers from the 113th Precinct responded to the residence after receiving a 911 call regarding a person in need of assistance. When they arrived, they found the victim, a 31-year-old woman, who had suffered multiple stab wounds to her left arm.
Responding EMS units pronounced her dead at the scene. The NYPD has not yet released her identity, pending proper family notification.
Her body was transferred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of her death.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
