TOWN OF RUTLAND, New York (WWNY) – Little Lukes, an Oswego County-based daycare, has bought a former bank building just outside the village of Black River.
Jefferson County records show the group bought the old Community Bank property on Route 3 in July for $250,000.
Little Lukes operates six locations throughout Oswego and Onondaga counties.
State grant awarded in January
In January, Little Lukes received a $500,000 grant from the state to buy a vacant building and open a new licensed childcare center.
At that time, the location of the planned center had not been disclosed.
Little Lukes did not return calls seeking comment on a timeline for the project.
