Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found with stab wounds in her arm in an abandoned house in Queens Tuesday.

NYPD officials said officers discovered the 31-year-old woman around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday morning, after a man who was with her at the time of the stabbing called 911. She had multiple stab wounds to her left arm, and EMS pronounced her dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.

Based on preliminary information, they said they were not immediately considering her death to be suspicious.

Police said the incident happened at an abandoned home on the corner of Rockaway Boulevard and 145th Street in South Jamaica. Police they did not release her identity right away as they worked to notify her family.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner would determine how the woman died, police said. They did not make any immediate arrests.
