It’s been a great summer with plenty of fairs in New York State. I was excited to attend the Orange County Fair, Ulster County Fair and Dutchess County Fair and more in the Hudson Valley.

I came across a super helpful website that allows us to check out the fairs in our area! It’s called findyourfair.com
It’s really easy, we go onto the website and type in a zip code in that section. We could choose our area and then select the within tab which allows us to choose 20, 30, 40 and 50 mile radius.
We could then click on find or show all in the next tab. I found this helpful as I learned about fairs that I didn’t know about in New York State. It also allows us to explore a new fair and town as well!

Eat Your Way Through The Hudson Valley With The Best Ice Cream
I have always enjoyed stopping by my favorite local ice cream shops and choosing a new flavor. Whether it’s a hot fudge sundae, chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone, or an ice cream sandwich, count me in.
The Hudson Valley has strange ice cream flavors. From lemon poppyseed to thai iced tea and barn boots, there aren’t any boring flavors in our area.A ‘Premiere’ Hudson Valley treat shop was expanding their space during the winter months to prepare for a busy summer season.
Thankfully, we have a large selection of local ice cream shops to visit in the Hudson Valley.
