Two Queens synagogues were hit hours apart with bags of feces and motor oil in July, in incidents now under investigation by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force.
Police have released surveillance footage as they seek two suspects in the case.
Both attacks targeted Young Israel congregations in eastern Queens.
At about 11:44 a.m., two suspects went behind Young Israel of Jamaica Estates on 188th Street and threw bags containing the substances at the property. They escaped on foot in the direction of a dark-colored SUV.
Young Israel of Holliswood on Francis Lewis Boulevard was struck hours later. The second incident occurred sometime between 11 p.m. and 6:20 a.m. Congregants discovered the substances outside the synagogue when they arrived for morning prayers.
Authorities are seeking information that could help identify or locate the two suspects shown in the newly released surveillance footage.

New York State Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, an Israeli-American lawmaker representing parts of eastern Queens, denounced the attacks. “This is another outrageous example of the ongoing hate our community is facing,” Rozic said.
No arrests have been announced. Police have not disclosed a motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
