Eric Prince Holton Jr., 44, of Golden Valley resident, is facing two first-degree drug felonies for possessing nearly 60 pounds of methamphetamine.
On Aug. 25, detectives from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 6500 block of Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley.
According to a criminal complaint, during the search, offices found about 60 pounds of methamphetamine stored in bags throughout the house. They also found two pounds of cocaine under the sink in the master bathroom. They found multiple cell phones and $16,976 in cash as well.
Police say the amount of drugs at the home “indicate intent to sell and that [Holton] holds a higher position in the drug distribution hierarchy,” according to the complaint.
Holton could face up to 40 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine for the multiple, drug-related felonies.
Holton had three previous felony drug possession convictions in 2012, 2019 and 2023.
According to public records, an omnibus hearing is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 18.
