BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Brooklyn FC Men on Wednesday announced that forward Markus Anderson has been recalled by Philadelphia Union from his loan.
Anderson had been a key member of the inaugural Brooklyn squad, making 16 appearances in the USL Championship and starting 14 of those matches. He scored six goals, most recently in a 4-1 win against Sporting JAX on Aug. 29.
He also contributed four league assists and made four appearances in the Prinx Tires USL Cup, adding two more goals in that competition.
Anderson spent time under Brooklyn head coach Marlon LeBlanc at Philadelphia Union II.
“Brooklyn FC thanks Markus for his contributions to the club, and wishes him the best in his future,” a club statement said.
