A day of bargain hunting and community gathering will return this fall with the second annual Park Slope Super Stoop event. Sponsored by the Park Slope Civic Council, it is a community-wide chance to sell or give away some goods and mingle with neighbors.
The one-day event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Locals, including residents, schools, and businesses, can register their stoop online and indicate what they will have on offer. Registered stoops will appear on a digital and physical map for attendees. According to the Park Slope Civic Council, the inaugural event included over 250 participating households.
The deadline for stoop registration is September 20 and there is an FAQ page online for interested participants. Eager shoppers will find updated information closer to the date of the event on the Park Slope Civic Council website and Instagram.
In case of stormy weather, a rain date is set for Sunday, Sept. 27.
