NYC’s beloved Jellycat Diner gets its biggest refresh yet with an all new menu and interactive experience

New York’s most iconic diner doesn’t serve food. Well, not the typical kind, at least.

Tucked inside FAO Schwarz at Rockefeller Center, the wildly popular Jellycat Diner has become one of the city’s sweetest attractions, where smiling burgers, hot dogs, fries, and slices of pizza are served up with a side of imagination. And now, the beloved experience is getting its biggest refresh yet.

Beginning September 4, the world-famous Jellycat Diner is unveiling an all-new look, a fresh lineup of exclusive foodie friends, and even more playful details that make it feel like stepping into the most charming little diner in New York City—one where every order comes with a soft, cuddly best friend instead of a meal.

What Is the Jellycat Diner Experience?

For anyone unfamiliar, the Jellycat Diner is part toy shop, part interactive theater, and part pure childhood joy. Guests don’t simply pick out a plush—they place an order, chat with cheerful diner staff, watch their new friend get “prepared” behind the counter, and leave with an adorable takeout package worthy of a five-star review.

And in true New York fashion, the diner’s menu has just gotten a major upgrade.

The viral Jellycat Diner just got a VERY New York makeover! 🗽✨ Located inside FAO Schwarz at Rockefeller Center, the sweet spot is back with four new foodie friends visitors can pick out, “cook” behind the counter, season up, name and take home! 🥹💕 🌭 We went with the NYC hot dog, but people can also choose McKenna the hamburger, Rustic Fries or Cristuff the pizza! The experience comes with some pretty cute extras, too: a collectible enamel pin, exclusive sticker sheet, personalized name sticker, diner-themed packaging AND a reusable takeout tote. 🛍️✨ Plus, there’s plenty to see around the diner, including a ramp where everyone can get a bird’s-eye (or should we say pigeon’s-eye? 👀) view of the whole experience. 📍 FAO Schwarz, Rockefeller Center 🍴 Jellycat Diner ✨ Open now Would you pick the hot dog, burger, fries or pizza? 👇 #JellyCat #JellyCatDiner #NYC #nycshopping #nycthingstodo @Jellycat @faoschwarzofficial

Leading the new lineup are four exclusive Amuseables characters inspired by some of the city’s most iconic foods:

Cristuff Pizza: A perfectly cheesy slice with Big Apple energy to spare.

McKenna Burger: A double-stacked sweetheart with plenty of personality.

Breck Hot Dog: An enthusiastic New Yorker and devoted baseball fan.

Rustic Fries: Bringing a little countryside charm to the city streets.

There’s also a new accessory joining the menu: the Strutton Pigeon Bag Charm, a cheeky nod to New York’s unofficial mascot. Street-smart, stylish, and guaranteed to attract attention, it might just be the most New York Jellycat yet.

Returning by popular demand is Rufferty Puppy Junior, an exclusive FAO Schwarz favorite who’s ready for his latest adventure around the city.
