A 63-year-old man has been charged with stealing over $42,000 in merchandise from a Staten Island boutique. Authorities say Peter Koch, of Charleston, was arrested in August for a burglary that happened on April 1 at 585 Veterans Road West. Investigators say he used a yellow crowbar, entered the closed store, and carried out merchandise valued at $42,533. The stolen items included Ray-Ban Meta glasses, A&G Rock jewelry, Casablanca monogram bags, Willy Chavarria T-shirts, and BAPE hoodies. Koch has pleaded not guilty and is free on bail set at $45,000 bond and $15,000 cash.
