Northbound lanes of Queen’s Park at College Street are closed as police investigate

A teenage boy was struck by a vehicle near Queen’s Park late Friday morning.

Toronto police said the collision occurred in the Queen’s Park and College Street area around 11:35 a.m.

Though police said the victim was riding a scooter at the time of the incident, paramedics told TorontoToday that the teenager was a pedestrian.

A spokesperson for Toronto Paramedics Services said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
