NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — An MTA transit worker was killed on the job Thursday night in the Bronx.
New York City Transit says Moet McCullum, 41, was working as a construction flagger at the 161st St-Yankee Stadium during overnight work when she was fatally struck by a D train around 11:30 p.m.

Transit President Demetrius Crichlow met with the family and says the case is under investigation.
“This is a difficult day,” wrote Crichlow in a statement. “I was at the hospital last night, and this morning I was at the scene, and I met with her family. I have also spoken with Chair Lieber and TWU Local 100 President John Chiarello — all of us are heartbroken. I ask that we all keep Ms. McCullum and her family in our thoughts and prayers.”
The Transport Workers Union Local 100 also says it’s heartbroken over the tragic death.
“The actions that led to this sudden and awful occurrence are still being determined, so we cannot speculate on the details. The NTSB has reached out to me and we will work in conjunction with them, the Track Safety Task Force and the TWU Local 100 Safety Team to piece together what happened,” TWU Local 100 President John Chiarello said.
