Lodi, N.Y. — A driver was killed Friday night in a one-vehicle crash in Seneca County.
New York State Police said troopers responded to Townsendville Road in Lodi around 7 p.m. and found that a Chevrolet Cruze had been traveling southbound when it left the road and struck a tree off the east shoulder.
Police said the vehicle then went airborne before coming to rest off the west shoulder. The operator, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver was extricated from the vehicle by responding emergency personnel. The investigation is ongoing.
