Queen Camilla and Brigitte Macron reunited on Wednesday for a viewing of the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition at the British Museum in London, where the two women revived their sartorial coordination streak. Macron wore a white midi dress and the United Kingdom’s queen consort stepped out in an Anna Valentine dress.

Queen Camilla rewore a white dress with long sleeves and a pleated skirt courtesy of the British couturier — one of her go-to designers alongside Fiona Clare Aldridge. The dress included botanical-inspired detailing on the V-shaped neckline, pleated skirt and the cuffs of the long sleeves.
Along with her white dress, Queen Camilla sported other staple elements from her royal wardrobe, including a small Lady Dior bag in a shade of biscuit and her two-tone cap-toe suede low-heel pumps in beige and black by Chanel, a potential nod to France’s president and first lady.

Final touches to Queen Camilla’s attire included her Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry pieces. Queen Camilla’s ensemble served as a complementary look to that of Brigitte Macron, who also wore white for Wednesday’s outing, joined by her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, and King Charles III.
Macron’s dress favored a more contemporary silhouette, with sharp shoulders, three-quarter-length sleeves and an A-line skirt with a slightly cinched waist. The dress included two parallel buttons north of the bust as well, facilitating even more modernity.

Like Queen Camilla, Macron chose muted accessories and other elements with her look, including a top-handle bag, neutral gold jewelry and a pair of sand-tone pointed-toe pumps to complete her attire.
Queen Camilla and Macron have worn coordinated pieces in the past, a staple element of their unified visual language for joint appearances. The two women wore complementary pieces in December 2024 for the Entente Littéraire Prize Award ceremony in London and opted for another monochrome moment in white dresses for the 80th anniversary of D-Day ceremony.

King Charles III, Queen Camilla, France’s President Emmanuel Macron and Brigitte Macron attended the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition at the British Museum in London on Wednesday. The historic piece depicts events leading up to the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 and has been loaned by France to the U.K. for the first time since it was made nearly 1,000 years ago, following a historic agreement between the two countries.
