NEW YORK (PIX11) — Spotty showers may develop on Sunday across New Jersey, the Hudson Valley, Connecticut and parts of Long Island. Areas that miss the showers will see plenty of sunshine.
A stretch of sunshine will make Labor Day Monday the pick of the week, and similar conditions are expected Tuesday as warm, dry weather continues across the tri‑state area.
Monday is expected to be the best day from start to finish, with low humidity, warm temperatures and mostly cloud‑free skies.
Conditions stay pleasant into Tuesday, though a few high, thin clouds may filter in during the afternoon.
Lower humidity is driving the comfortable weather pattern. Dew points will remain in the comfortable to dry range through Wednesday, keeping conditions feeling pleasant.
Humidity begins to rise Thursday, which could bring a few showers or thunderstorms before the sunny conditions return again heading into next weekend.
