NEW YORK, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD is searching for three men they say went on a crime spree throughout Queens, stealing cash, cellphones and wallets.

According to police, a total of 10 robberies were committed between August 4 and August 28 by the unknown men. The robberies were highly localized, with all occurring within a one square mile area of Jamaica, Queens.

Police say that, in all of the cases, men between the ages of 14 and 69 were first approached by one to three of the suspects. In six of those incidents, the culprits allegedly forcibly took the victim’s wallet, cellphone, jewelry or cash. Others voluntarily handed over their items while held at gunpoint or knifepoint.

Some of the victims sustained minor injuries as well. In one case, a 42-year-old man was allegedly punched in his head. In another, a 44-year-old man was allegedly pushed to the ground.

One of the victims, a 14-year-old boy, was very fortunate. Two of the suspects allegedly tried to steal his cellphone, but he screamed and the culprits ran away.
