Will the New York Giants exceed their over/under win total for next season?
A panel of CBS Sports analysts issued a lean prediction that the Giants will finish over 7.5 wins in 2026, based on DraftKings Sportsbook’s over/under for the season.
Lean: Over 7.5 (-110). New York is a possible breakout team in 2026 with Jaxson Dart entering Year 2 and John Harbaugh now installed as head coach. Dart flashed his potential as a rookie (albeit with some reckless play as a runner), and if that can be honed in a bit under Harbaugh, there’s a lot to like about the Giants. Malik Nabers is back as a true No. 1 weapon in the offense, and the defense boasts a slew of stud pass rushers, including Brian Burns. Their division isn’t for the faint of heart, but they have the talent to put together eight wins.
The Giants do not have many favorable matchups. The Arizona Cardinals, New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns are the only three teams New York can confidently be expected to beat. The Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders have enough talent to have strong seasons, but they also have the potential to struggle. Those seven games will go a long way toward shaping New York’s record.
The Giants also have a realistic chance to take one of two meetings from both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles if Harbaugh’s group plays well.

That profile points to a team that wins somewhere between seven and 10 games. Eight or more would not be a surprise, which makes this one of the more difficult over/unders to pick with real confidence.
