MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was arrested in connection with aggravated assault and other offenses early Saturday in Manhattan, officials said.
The incident was reported around 12:44 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Sunset Avenue.
Riley County police listed a 19-year-old man and a 24-year-old man as victims when it was reported that an unknown 40-year-old man brandished a knife.

Raphael Rashaad Byrd, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12:55 a.m. Saturday at Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, 513 Sunset Ave. in Manhattan, Riley County Police officials said.
Byrd was then booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with aggravated assault; battery of a law enforcement officer; interference with a law enforcement officer; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of a depressant.
Byrd was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remained Monday in the Riley County Jail.
