Get a first look at Public Record at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park with the production photos in the gallery below. The latest installment in the Public Theater’s Public Works series, the production is running September 4-8 for five free performances.

Based on a concept by Dan Canham and Emily Lim, the work captures how New York City sings, moves, and tells its story through an ensemble of over 130 community members, musicians, and dancers. Written by Lisa Sanaye Dring, Public Record features creative direction by Canham and Lim, original orchestrations and music supervision by Michael Thurber, and co-direction and choreography by Canham. Emily Lim directs.

The cast includes dancers Amanda Castro, Niall Jones, Lysis, Alora Tonielle Martinez, Raechelle Manalo, William Roberson, and Niki Saludez; musicians Louis Cato, Arturo O’Farrill, Arun Ramamurthy, and Mireya Ramos; DJ Papi Juice; vocalist Maya Margarita; and 100 Public Works community members from all five boroughs.
